Pay attention to current issues and make promises – it always generates interest. Eventually, you will need to manipulate, discredit the competition, or explore other markets. Unfortunately, everything comes at a cost, so it's advisable to negotiate with sponsors. A fresh injection of cash will allow you to organize advertising campaigns, additional TV appearances, or special parades.

All of this is done to increase a few bars on the indicators. However, you must also take care of your candidate's image – ensure their appearance is well-maintained and prevent scandals from occurring. Quite a lot of work, isn't it?

Graphically, the game presents itself as average. On one hand, we have caricatured visualizations of well-known individuals and a slightly exaggerated map of the United States. However, most of the time, we will be dealing with tables and statistical data, which is undoubtedly a drawback of the game. It lacks some variety, something that would allow the eyes to rest. Musically, the title fares much better, with characteristic songs of the candidates and the New World flowing from the speakers.

The Political Machine 2008 is an original and unconventional game that is worth giving a chance.
